Research, apply for and secure grant and funding opportunities on behalf of Sheron Ann Foundation.
This position is responsible for managing the social media/online presence of
Sheron Ann Foundation.
Provide support for SAF events, fundraising and donation services as needed by the organization.
This is an ongoing position, based on the support staffing needs of
SAF programming.
About the Position:
Sheron Ann Foundation is looking for an experienced grant writer who is aligned with our mission and purpose to redefine advocacy by designing systems. The primary focus of this position is to secure funding opportunities for/on behalf of our organization.
Primary responsibilities for this position include:
-Researching funding opportunities
-Connecting with corporate donors that align with SAF’s mission and vision
-Drafting/submitting Letters Of Intent and Grant Proposals on behalf of Sheron Ann Foundation
Applicants should have a successful track record of applying for and securing funding from private and/or corporate donors. A proven skill of finding appropriate institutional donors to back our cause is preferred. Applicants must align with Sheron Ann Foundation’s mission, purpose and vision. A strong social justice focus and understanding of the importance of diversity and equity within the workplace is a must. Applicants must be focused on the greater good of progressing social justice and civil rights for all communities.
Position Specifics:
-This is a part-time volunteer position with the prospect of becoming a
part-time paid position, upon funding availability.
-Up to 10 hours a week
-Remote working opportunity; Set your own hours and schedule
-Weekly check-ins via zoom are required
-Applicants must have access to the internet, a computer or device for writing Letters of Intent and proposals, and access to functioning forms of communication, such as phone, email and/or text. If you need support with these requirements, please include specifics in your application.
Requirements:
-Experience with non-profit grant writing.
-1-5 years’ experience writing grants for small-medium sized nonprofits preferred.
-Formal education is not a requirement. All applicable experience will be considered.

Sheron Ann Foundation is looking for an experienced social media volunteer to manage SAF online platforms. Applicants should be aligned with the SAF mission and purpose to redefine advocacy by redesigning systems. The primary focus of this position is to enhance our online presence and build strong online communities through our various social media platforms.
Primary Responsibilities include:
-Developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between SAF and the community.
-Collect and review social media data to develop more effective engagement.
-Create a posting calendar for each social media platform
-Work alongside staff to create content that serves both the mission and purpose of Sheron Ann Foundation
-Grow the online engagement and following of Sheron Ann Foundation
Applicants should have a proven skill of creating, posting, growing and managing social media platforms. Applicants must align with Sheron Ann Foundation’s mission, purpose and vision. Requirements:
-Experience in social media management for an organization, nonprofit, specialty page or other non-personal page.
-Exceptional planning and organizational skills for sharing posts, announcements and organization information.
-Ability to analyze and explain social media analytics data.
-Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
-Knowledge of business interface and functions for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.
-Some graphic design experience preferred.
-Formal education is not a requirement. All applicable experience will be considered.

About the Position:
Sheron Ann Foundation is looking for community minded individuals with a passion for engaging community members in a fun and thought-provoking way. This volunteer position provides event support for SAF events such as greeting guests and managing seating and event accommodations.
Community Outreach volunteers also help with fundraising in various ways. Collecting donations from drop off stations within the community, connecting with local donors to
pick-up/distribute donations, and supporting SAF staff with funding events.
This is an event specific volunteer position that is utilized before, during and after SAF community events.
Position Specifics:
-Engage with community members in a thoughtful and trauma-informed way
-Support SAF staff in event operations
-Maintain fundraising and donation needs
-Providing direct support services for all SAF events
Requirements:
-Good communicator
-Aligned with SAF mission, purpose and vision
-Be committed to redesigning systems to better support survivors
-Ability to multi-task
-Can work well independently and within a team
-Is successful in fast paced or group/crowd environments
-A commitment to anti-oppression/anti-racism advocacy
-Desire to build stronger, safer communities that support growth and resiliency
